Surah 112. Al-Ikhlas

((Say: He is Allah, the One! * Allah, the eternally Besought of all! * He begetteth not nor was begotten. * And there is none comparable unto Him.))

I see Surah 112 used a lot at the primary example of what the whole foundation of Islam relies upon...

But it makes me wonder... if the Jews had the same arguement, and they do... then what is the answer? I mean, I've been asked the question and the theological explanation seems to confuse people.

So let's use the accurately recorder quote by the radical himself...

41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”
They said to Him, “ The Son of David.”
43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:
44 ‘ The LORD said to my Lord,
“ Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?[a]

45 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

(Matthew 22:41-46)

It's a tough question to actually answer, unless your answer is Jesus is a crazy man. But it's definately worth thinking about, because after all he did say it.

Abed: thank u. wait for another one to come.

Mona: Hi dear. Happy u liked it. Thank u for ur tender words. appreciate it. If u have ur own blog I really want to add it to my list, well, if u don't mind of course. :)

Tristan Vick: u r right. Monotheism is the basic of Islam. It's to believe that God is One and only One with no partners or sons and no one can be like him. Now, for what you wrote, I didn't get it :( . How Jesus asked about Christ?!! Isn't he is Jesus Christ?!! Maybe, he meant to teach them that he isn't a son of anyone!! I don't know really! But, certainly, Jesus is NOT a crazy man. Maybe there is something we can't reach it yet.

Adam: Great to see u again. Hope u r doing well now.
