Sanhedrin 57a. A Jew need not to pay a cuthean (gentile) the wages owed him for work.

Baba Kamma 113a. Jews may use subterfuges (lies) to circumvent a Gentile.
* Kill, rob and steal Non-Jew
Baba Mezia 24a. If a Jew finds an object lost by a heathen (gentile) it does not have to be returned. (Affirmed also in Baba Kamma 113b). Sanhedrin 76a. God will not spare a Jew who marries his daughter to an old man or takes a wife for his infant son or returns a lost article to a cuthean (gentile)... Sanhedrin 57a. When a Jew murders a gentile, there will be no death penalty. What a Jew steals from a cuthean (gentile) he may keep. Baba Kamma 37b. Actually, I read an article for one of my favorite writers and scholars "Mohammed Al Awadi" long time ago and he mentioned this subject about Talmud.
So, I went to see myself and it was true!!!

It's interesting to note that many of the customs shared between the Jews and the Muslims come from this age old Middle Easter way of thought.
Thus you get works such as the Talmud and the Hadith.
Of course there arises, as in any good story, a hero to challenge these archaic ideas. Amidst the controversy stands the prodigal radical: Jesus Christ. Who challenged these fatalistic age old ideologies with a pure message from the ONE and only GOD... and the message Christ so adamantly preached was LOVE.
So it doesn't matter if you're a Muslim, a Jew, or a Christian. Jesus came and told everyone a very simple thing... in order to get into GOD's kingdom... WE ALL must stop doing bad, and start loving each other and God.
So whatever 'evil' is inherent in man's harts, and whatever evil seeps into the Talmud, Hadiths, or any other holy books... Christ taught how to combat that evil with love... God's love.
And this is important to keep in mind before we start pointing fingers and finding each others faults. Before we start hating again... let's pause and reflect on the importance of this teaching... this Christian ideal of LOVE conquering all. And I think in our hearts... we know the message to be true. Love will prevail in the END... because it is GOD's love which will conquer all.

How r u Noor? Haven't heard from u in long time. Your latest posting is, well, interesting. I never knew that Jews feel this way about others who are not Jewish. Its sad really, almost absurd. Anyway, I think you know this, your name came up on CNNFAN.ORG and that really surprised me coz i never knew that you visit that site often too. It was refreshing to see a familiar name :)
Can a Jew, Muslim and Christian sit together in the same room and talk about peace and working together???? I read a book containing a collection of the hadiths and somewhere it mentioned that among the people of the book, the jews hate Muslims the most and that Muslims and Jews will clash till the Last Hour. God only knows the truth.

If Wikipedia is correct the Talmud was written around 200-500 CE when the Jews were scattered, persecuted and trying to survive. Maybe it's self-preservation. Tristan can probably say a lot about the origin of the Talmud.
If you look up "taqiyya" it is permissible to deny you're a Muslim if your life is in danger. Some Muslims may take it even further and think lying to a kufr is not a grave sin. And some kufr may take the taqiyya verses out of context and decide that "Muslims are liars"
I'm afraid it's not as simple. Some ppl are just dishonest
(In fact some Westerners take all the "kill-them-all" verses in the Qu'ran to mean that Muslims are out to kill, or enslave all non-Muslims)

If we could put our religion behind us (being our history, language and culture) and not between each other, what a wonderful world it would be.
Tristan, thank you so much for your informative comments. You are always special in your comments. Well, I agree with you that we share same conceptions and customs somehow, but still some things are not really rational or accepted.
I don't want here to attack any one or any religion, it's only something I didn't know and I have no idea about Talmud or Judaism as I have about Christianity.

Well, yes, you are right! Some things in other religions are not clear to us or we can see it in different perspective. In old times, some Muslims who were under torture got the permission to lie and say that they are not Muslims, while their hearts were full with faith and love to God.
I liked ur point, it depends on the person not his religion, his way of thinking, how he look to others and his ability to be close and befriend others.
Well, you know what, sometimes I think in the same way, some people become so extremists and deface the religions,, so they make us –the normal people- feel bad and guilty or afraid to be religious lest accuse as extremists as well.

Thank you my dear for the enlightenment. Rabbis will be amazed to learn that their lifetime of Talmud study was so lacking in substance that they need a nazi or white supremicist to explain it's meanings. Your 'chapter and verse' quotes are so far from reality that I must assume your Talmud education is equal to your public scholastic achievements. This site is generally anti-racist rather than a 'Jewish' forum.
