Do You Remember??!!

Do you know Rachael Corrie?
Do you remember Rachael and her killers?
http://www.rachel-corrie.com/

Do you know Tom Hurndall?
Do you remember Tom and his killers?
http://www.tomhurndall.co.uk/
http://www.tomjoad.org/Hurndall.htm

I was confused how I can write about case like Palestine, if you can see the daily photos from there; you will need no more words or reports.
I live far away from their suffering, their daily horror.
I just see daily photos in newspapers, even when I started to collect and scan the horrifying photos, I stopped, I couldn't collect 1000s of photos that have been taken, besides there are many crimes we never saw or knew about it.
Some western people blame and hate Palestinians and think that they are attacking "innocent" people of Israel, while the truth that Palestinians are the one who is under fire. They are under siege, threaten all times, no one is safe.

I want you now compare and see what happen to Rachael Corrie and Tom Hurndall and did they got their justice?
Did America and England make anything to fulfill their rights and sue the killers?
And the both countries are the powerful countries now!!!!

So, can you give this little Palestinian angel any guarantee that no one will steal her innocence or her LIFE anytime?

I don't think you can

You mention the Palestine and Israel conflict. This is a politically sensative land dispute, because neither side is willing to acknowledge that the land belongs to everyone.

Many people can't seem to seperate religion from politics, which I find kind of strange. After all, they are seperate unto themselves. But the propoganda gets tossed back and forth and then you get terms like "zionist" floating around.

I doubt that anybody even knows what the real Zionist is... which basically is a person who believes Israel and Jerusalem to be the Holy Land promised to the Jews. According the Tora -the Jews are promised certain things. The debate often arises when man try to put their law above God's. What is a zionist? Well, you have the anti-zionist confusing religious politics with state politics and you have everyone else. I know 2 hard core Zionists- who believe whole heartedly in the prophecy fortold in the Bible.

I personally just think people should share. So what if the Qur'an never once mentions Jerusalem and the Bilbe does over 700 times... whether or not God really did make any promise to the Jews... the land dispute shouldn't be fueling hate crimes. The hate crimes are comming from the people, not the controversy. And I've already talked about the number one law set forth by God is to love. So anyone who perpetually breaks this law without remorse... as far as I am concerned, is going to have to answer to God.

Two peoples want to live on the same land, noone wants to share.
If only one part was truly evil and one part was truly good....then it would be easy.

I was always sympathetic to the palestinians, they being the "weak".
They burned the flag of my country, and I still don't hate them.

And this innocent child...wearing the Hamas bandana, she will grow up hating . Breaks my heart. War does not end on the battlefield but in the hearts of man.

And Tristan: making one's own will "the will of God" is the road to perdition, Agree ?

To answer your question I recommend you read "The Abolition of Man" by C.S. Lewis to get a better idea of what my thoughts are on the subject of perdition.

For my short answer, I don't think we can seperate love from justice. But I'm not talking about 'man's justice' because as human's we are fallible, sinful, and often unintelligent. But we cannot separater love from God's eternal justice, and the two have to go hand in hand, because when man plays out righteousness by his own decree... you often get the opposition of love through violence. Again, please read the book if you want to know my true thoughts on the subject.

Im not surprised of your comments guys.
It adds nothing to my depression. And Yes , of course the media did a great job of brainwashing.
You guys are talking as if there is a war between two armies (The Israeli and the Palestinian). And as the two armies are both fighting and neither side wants to give up due to hate.

*deep Breathe*.

Iam a Palestinian. I don't hate Jews. and this is an essential in my religion as not to hate any beleiver.
but situation is, Israel has one of the strongerst armies in the world, and with Endless support from the WHOLE WORLD is attacking the Palestinians (civilians).
They are attacking since 1948. and nobody support us. yet they blame us.
what Hamas or Fateh or whatever resisitants are trying to do is to defend what they CAN defend against the Israeli Armies.

Tell me how can stones or bombs stands against the American F-16 air force ? Ha ??
and all what the world doing is blaming us as terrorists.

Now it's getting worst, our people is starving to death. and If they tried to bring some aids to the country, then they are Anti-Semitists who hates Israel and Are Terrorist.

and your talking about Hate and Love and sharing???

since when we were allowed to share and we refused ??

Israel is taking more and more lands, and yet we have no place to live.
All what we're asking for is to live!

Abed, it _is_ a terrible situation. I don't claim 2 have any easy solution. ( and I said 2 peoples, not 2 armies) Yes, we too far away to really understand, but not unsympathetic.

I don't blame u for thinking the whole world is against u, I probably would too.

What I do know is, Denmark has granted asylum to a number of Palestinians. Some try their best to "get a life" here while others bring the conflict with them, beating up Jews in the streets. And we have criminal gangs of PA youths who are notoriously violent. That doesn't give PA a good image.

I cound suggest 100 things Palestianians could do to improve their situation, but I won't.
Best thing I can so is not get caught up in hate.

halalhippie: what should I think when the United States, the WHOLE European Union, Russia, China, and the rest of the world have stopped aids to the Palestinian people and have put palestine under seige ??

only Iran and "few" Arab countries have sent Aids to palestine, but guess what ?? none of these Aids arrived to palestine cuz the WHOLE World have isolated palestine.

about those ignorants who borught their hatered to Europe, Im not giving them execuses, but how could non-Educated people whom were kicked out of their land by Israeli forces under the acknowledgement of the world to act ??

Situation is : Israeli Army with the most modern Weapons, against civilians. Again, Under the acknowledgement of the world.

I would like to thank you for your sympathy and support :)

I know that Palestine to the Zionists is the "Promised Land" as they claimed, but not all Jews believe in that "I saw in TV group of real Jews calling to end this unfair state of Israel". At the beginning, there were two choices, two lands: Argentina or Palestine. Then, they went to Palestine and started their terrorization to force people leaving their lands and homes, and that happened, so they occupied systematically and still the settlers attacked peaceful villagers to take their homes and lands. I lost an article in a newspaper that analyzing historically that there is no one left from Israel and the Zionism chose the name of Israel with craftiness to deceive people and delusion them by the name, so no one will say anything against Israel for religious reasons. Ironically, lots of Zionists in their state of I aren't that religious, a western man went there in a program and said I found all kinds of pigs' meats while in Judaism it forbids eating pig's meant like Islam!!!!
**
The problem that we are so far from what is really happened and still happen there.
1- who support Zionists, go directly to them and defend them whether they are right or wrong.
2- who support Palestinians, , go directly to them and defend them whether they are right or wrong.
3- who support no one and want to know the truth, go to the both sides and see and compare, then judge… and I can say that who went in this way came to say we need to put the real justice. American and western countries are biased to Zionists side…and Palestinians live in bad conditions and under siege and privation.
**
Halalhippie: I don't see that. I chose this particular picture in purpose. As I expected, you think that she will grow hating, but I think she should show no fear and tell the other side that she is not afraid and if they want to attack them unjustly, they will reply and this is call "self-defense".
If people like Rachael and Tom who are belong to POWERFUL NATIONS got no rights and no justice for their murders,
how can we believe that anyone will care for killing of Palestinian children!!?. RIGHT!

I guess we could argue forever about who's to blame, and I can't claim to know enough about the historical background. But yes, in the West media paints a better picture of Israel.

Abed: I commented on Noor's latest post re. the aid from EU.

Noor: U see a strong girl resisting oppression.. I can understand that; I see a child "dressed to kill" ...it's not fair, that little girl should be playing with her dolls, riding a pony on the beach. Again, we put different things into a picture, depending on our background.

And the story of Rachel ? the page u link to belongs to a group if Nazis, who are only out to prove that all Jews are evil. They hate ev'ryone who isn't white.

It looks like Rachel risked her life - and lost it - to make the world a better place. I don't think an Israeli bulldozer cares what nationality u have.

Again, I don't claim to know the historical backgrounds, and it's sad to see the Hamas and Fatah killing each other now.

Halalhippie: Get real brother, do you think child like her can play peacefully with Devil's army out there,
I think the graveyard of dreams and "normal life" founded in Palestine. I'm not negative, but as I saw, no one can think normally and naturally like rest of the world. Did you visit the blog of " Raising Yusuf":
http://a-mother-from-gaza.blogspot.com/
you will find the true face of living in that areas. you will see how peacefully sweet 13 years old school girl wearing her uniform and carrying school bag with her books and try to go her home has been unloaded more than 17 bullets into her little body by one of the Zionist's soldiers and as usual they cleared the soldier and maybe rewarded him for killing this little girl.
Take a look to this blog.

As for the site, I really didn't focus, I was taken by the pics of Rachael as she facing the bulldozer alone. I thought the site about the crimes against humanity. Not NAZI. If that so, I'm really sorry and I will try to find another link contains the pics and story instead of this one.
I don't think she risked her life, but I think she wanted to do something as Tom wanted too. But I think they didn't expect that some Zionists don't care about them or even about American or EU, the interest of Zionists id the # 1 and no one even America will stop them..
"it's sad to see the Hamas and Fateh killing each other now"
That what upset me most, instead of getting closer and create a union they went so far and faced each other, but I can't tell…I'm far away to know. Maybe some traitors tried to create a discord between the two groups and keep the area burning inside and…sure we know who will be pleased to see that!
