"Surah Al-Ikhlas"

Surah Al-Ikhlas is one of clearest Chapters in the Holy Koran that give you definitive and firm facts about God.
Just 4 verses, Small and simple, but with powerful and clear words.

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Say: He is Allah, the One!

اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
Allah, the eternally Besought of all!
"The Everlasting, the Eternal"

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
He begetteth not nor was begotten.
"He is the only one, that he has neither sons nor father"

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
And there is none comparable unto Him.
"No one can be like Him"

GOD, the Great and Almighty is far above to has son or be like his creatures.
No one is like Him…nothing can be like Him.

~Messenger Of God~

It's really amazing that the messenger of God "Jesus Christ" got all these curiosity about his life and what is exactly happened in his short life.
But I don't want to talk about the claiming of his marriage because there is no reliable source or evidence about that and I don't think he got married to "Mary Magdalene or any other woman" because he had Holy Mission that filled his life and nothing could made him interest and concern but spreading God's word.
Few Months ago, a series episodes of program called "Son Of God" broadcasted in BBC Prime. I watched maybe one episode and I was shocked when they said that Jesus Christ went to bars and mixed with drunkers and prostitutes, and even "…" !!!!
That was really nasty and ugly thing to claim of… a holy man like Jesus will never got any kind of relation with prostitutes or sinful people except calling them to return to God and seek for his Forgiveness.

Let us review what Holy Koran said about his mother, his birth and his mission.

This is Surah Maryam "Mary" from 16-36:

وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ انتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرْقِيًّا
And make mention of Mary in the Scripture, when she had withdrawn from her people to a chamber looking East,

فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا
And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man.

قَالَتْ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِالرَّحْمَن مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيًّا
She said: Lo! I seek refuge in the Beneficent One from thee, if thou art God fearing.

قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا
He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son.

قَالَتْ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا
She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste!

قَالَ كَذَلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُ آيَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا
He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me. And (it will be) that We may make of him a revelation for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing ordained.

فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَانتَبَذَتْ بِهِ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا
And she, conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a place.

فَأَجَاءهَا الْمَخَاضُ إِلَى جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًا مَّنسِيًّا
And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten!

فَنَادَاهَا مِن تَحْتِهَا أَلَّا تَحْزَنِي قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا
Then (one) cried unto her from below her, saying: Grieve not! Thy Lord hath placed a rivulet beneath thee,

وَهُزِّي إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُسَاقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا
And shake the trunk of the palm tree toward thee, thou wilt cause ripe dates to fall upon thee.

فَكُلِي وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّا
So eat and drink and be consoled. And if thou meetest any mortal, say: Lo! I have vowed a fast unto the Beneficent, and may not speak this day to any mortal.

فَأَتَتْ بِهِ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ قَالُوا يَا مَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْئًا فَرِيًّا
Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an amazing thing.

يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
Oh sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot.

فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ قَالُوا كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِي الْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّا
Then she pointed to him. They said How can we tale to one who is in the cradle, a young boy?

قَالَ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ آتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا
He spoke: Lo! I am the servent of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet,

وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا
And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and alms giving so long as I remain alive,

وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا
And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest.

وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا
Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!

ذَلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ قَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِي فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
Such was Jesus, son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt.

مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ سُبْحَانَهُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.

وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
And lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. That is the right path.

Ayaht "verses" # 75 and 116 from Surah "Chapter" Almaeda:

مَّا الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُ صِدِّيقَةٌ كَانَا يَأْكُلاَنِ الطَّعَامَ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ الآيَاتِ ثُمَّ انظُرْ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ
The Messiah, son of Mary, was no other than a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) had passed away before him. And his mother was a saintly woman. And they both used to eat (earthly) food. See how we make the revelations clear for them, and see how they are turned away!

وَإِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنتَ قُلتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَـهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ
And when Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? he saith: Be glorified It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then Thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy mind. Thou, only Thou art the Knower of Things Hidden.

Now, as you can see, the holy Koran defined Jesus as a prophet and a Messenger Of God not a Son Of God. This is more reasonable to me.
We love all Messengers Of God and we name our kids after them hoping they will be good and devoted like them in the future.

Do you know WHY??!!

Well, let me begin with important notice. I don't support the suicide bombers who think by their killing of innocent people who are in "their peaceful homes and countries", will gain God's bless. I was terrified to see many young people killed themselves in that way thinking that will pleased GOD. Islam forbids committing suicide and killing peaceful people, so they are doing something against Islam teachings. For example: who did terrible suicide bombings in some peaceful countries, USA, Spain, England, Egypt, Jordan...etc are not expressing Islam's view because they killed themselves and killed innocent civilians "including Muslims". We lost great and devoted director who did great works to spread Islam message in the right way "Mustafa Akkad" in Jordan's blasts,, that cowards killed him and his 33 years old daughter "a mother too" with many peaceful people Muslims and non-Muslims in peaceful country,
so are they represent Muslims or Islam!??
Definitely not!

But there are some cases I can't say that they are wrong, in "occupied countries" like Palestine,,, I live away from them and I didn't have that clear idea about their real life. But, when I tried to be close, I couldn’t believe and I think I can't say that all of them want to kill themselves "For Virgins"!. Some of them like this one, a sweet boy 17 years old, cute, shy, loveable and superb in his school with his friends, family, neighbors and he could be great man with big achievements in the future, but he took that road of committing suicide!!!
If you don't know him, you will not realize the story behind that choice!

I don't know him, I don't even know his name, but I remember seeing his story in TV news years ago. I couldn’t take him out of my mind, I remember the report about him and his life, his family. His father was shocked because his son was cute and helpful and all people love him for his high manners and he was doing very well at school and he might be become great doctor or engineer. His father mention one thing about his sensitive son "my son was always affected by the killings and he witnessed the murder of our neighbors by the Zionism's Army.., that was always frustrated him!".
Did you get the picture!?
Like some American soldiers who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. They lived in horror, no one know where the ambush of death is or when his time will come. There is no stable situation and no one can sleep deeply without having nightmares of death and bodies and pieces of people.

"Sacrifice to make world see"

That sweet boy realized that no bright future could be waiting for him as long as the killing machine of Zionism is still rolling on them anytime anywhere.
Moreover, they don't care … woman or man, boy or girl, young or old, they kill with cold blood any living creatures in front of them. So, what is the point of life without stabilized ground and clear and peaceful road!

When you put anything under pressure, at end that thing will explode, so how about little kids living in situation like that.
This boy with many others found only this way to let world see their suffering and to break the silence of the world toward the aggression of Zionism. Besides, this is one of the obtainable ways that Palestinians have to reply and defend themselves when the rest of world closing their eyes on Zionists' aggression.... like they are saying, "We don't have deadly and developed weapons like Zionists, but we can sacrifice and die to defend and reply"!

That what I see and that what I know,
but this could be like a drop in the sea!
This is only my point of view about the case. I'm helpless and I have no power except spreading the truth that even here in Middle East can't be seeing correctly and nothing significant done to help. I will stop writing about that, but I will upload some pictures that I have and could give you a clear idea about the case.

I was confused how I can write about case like Palestine, if you can see the daily photos from there; you will need no more words or reports.
I live far away from their suffering, their daily horror.
I just see daily photos in newspapers, even when I started to collect and scan the horrifying photos, I stopped, I couldn't collect 1000s of photos that have been taken, besides there are many crimes we never saw or knew about it.
Some western people blame and hate Palestinians and think that they are attacking "innocent" people of Israel, while the truth that Palestinians are the one who is under fire. They are under siege, threaten all times, no one is safe.

I want you now compare and see what happen to Rachael Corrie and Tom Hurndall and did they got their justice?
Did America and England make anything to fulfill their rights and sue the killers?
And the both countries are the powerful countries now!!!!

So, can you give this little Palestinian angel any guarantee that no one will steal her innocence or her LIFE anytime?

Rock star Bono was in the editor's chair at the Independent on Tuesday and he used the occasion to promote his "Red" campaign fighting Aids in Africa.

The front page boldly declares "No news today" but below says "Just 6,500 Africans died today as a result of a preventable, treatable disease".

"Great Idea indeed. I like Bono and his good deeds in Africa. Yusuf Islam do a lots of things to help fighting Aids in Africa as well. This is humanitarian thing we share regardless the race, the root, the religion, the colour…etc"

I used to listen to local radio and love to hear the programs about the famous Muslims, there was a program called "Arabian Book taught the world-كتاب عربي علم العالم", through this program I knew new Muslim scholars that I never heard of, I couldn’t count them, but I was happy to know them and their books and achievements, one of them I couldn’t forget called " Ahmad Ibn Fadlan", who traveled up to Russia and even went with Vikings to Norway and other places there.

there is a movie called "The 13th Warrior" starring Antonio Banderas, which is represent this extraordinary traveler in a fair way 'I guess', I watched it many times, but not from the beginning, I always got in the middle, and I like it (except some scenes that not quite right). Well, I don't think there is any movie (whatever historical, romantic, drama, even the one that for kids) without some * Bad Scenes*,, and sure that doesn't reflect the real story, that’s just to attract the audience.
Anyway, he was remarkable and brave traveler and I love the travelers and their stories especially the old ones.. :-)

"Princess Haya has been elected president of the International Federation for Equestrian Sport"

Jordan's Princess Haya has been elected president of the International Federation for Equestrian Sport.

King Abdullah's half-sister, who has been riding internationally since the age of 13, has been entrusted to oversee the work of the IFE for the next four years. The popular royal, who turned 32 on Wednesday, brings many years of experience to her new role.

The princess has competed for her country at numerous events, including the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2002 World Equestrian Games, and, having represented Jordan at the IFE's general assembly on several occasions, she also knows a thing or two about the politics involved in running the organisation.

Taking charge of the IFE, which is the international governing body for all Olympic equestrian sports, is just the latest of many achievements for Haya. The princess, who is the elder of two children King Hussein had with his third wife Alia Toukan, holds a degree in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford University. She is also the first Arab, and the first woman, to have become a goodwill ambassador for the UN World Food Programme, not to mention being the first woman in Jordan to win a driving licence for heavy goods vehicles.

The unconventional royal faced a stiff challenge from Denmark's Princess Benedikte for the position, but after two rounds of voting it was Haya who emerged victorious.

Yes, this is our traditional clothes, it's really gorgeous, I have long skirts and trousers, but I have many of this Abaya and Shela, with wonderful designs and colors. It's really stylish and any woman can make her own and special Abaya with different appliqué. It comes with black cloth only, you can make it with any color, but it's the wonderful black color "The Master Of Colors" can fit to call any Abaya real "Abaya". I saw western girls whether tourists or residents love to wear Abaya and even love to choose the more stylish one like us.
So, don't you think that I'm a (terrorist)!!, Oh God, no, I'm far far away from the terrorists "I hate terrorists and reject terrorism", I live in lovely and peaceful country among friendly people, who love and welcome any one, any foreigner and at the same time, we still stick and adore our traditional clothes and life, and I took many traditional recipes of skin and hair care from grand mother and I'm crazy lover about Henna, printings henna on hands and feet or Henna mix for hair "it's really good to make hair shiny and healthy".
Well, as many of you do, we still love our traditional life :)

لما رجع عمر رضي الله عنه من الشام إلى المدينة ، انفرد عن الناس ، ليتعرف أخبار رعيته ، فمر بعجوز في خبائها فقصدها فقالت: يا هذا ما فعل عمر؟ قال: قد أقبل من الشام سالماً ، فقالت: لا جزاه الله عني خيراً ، قال: و لم؟ قالت: لأنه والله ما نالني من عطائه منذ ولي أمر المؤمنين دينار ولا درهم ، فقال: وما يدري عمر بحالك وأنت في هذا الموضع؟ فقالت: سبحان الله ، والله ما ظننت أن أحداً يلي على الناس ولا يدري ما بين مشرقها و مغربها ، فبكى عمر رضي الله عنه وقال: واعمراه ، كل أحد أفقه منك حتى العجائز يا عمر ، ثم قال لها: يا أمة الله ، بكم تبيعينني ظلامتك من عمر؟ فإني أرحمه من النار ، فقالت: لا تهزأ بنا يرحمك الله ، فقال: لست بهزاء ، فلم يزل بها حتى اشترى منها ظلامتها بخمسة و عشرين ديناراً ، فبينما هو كذلك إذا أقبل علي بن أبي طالب و ابن مسعود رضي الله عنهما فقالا: السلام عليك يا أمير المؤمنين ، فوضعت العجوز يدها على رأسها و قالت: واسوأتاه ، شتمت أمير المؤمنين في وجهه ، فقال لها عمر رضي الله عنه: لا بأس عليك رحمك الله ، ثم طلب رقعة يكتب فيها فلم يجد فقطع قطعة من مرقعته وكتب فيها: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ، هذا ما اشترى عمر من فلانة ظلامتها ، منذ ولي إلى يوم كذا و كذا بخمسة و عشرين ديناراً ، فما تدعي عند وقوفها في المحشر بين يدي الله تعالى ، فعمر منه بريء ، شهد على ذلك علي بن أبي طالب وابن مسعود ، ثم دفع الكتاب إلى ولده وقال: إذا أنا مت ، فاجعله في كفني ، ألقى به ربي.

((Meet my GOD with it…))
It's a story about one of the Commander of believers -Amir Al Moamneen called "Omar Bin Al Katab" . when he returned from Al Shaam to Al Madeena, he went alone to see his people by himself. He passed near an old woman and she said to him: Hey, man, What Omar did? . he replied: he returned from Al Saam safely. Then she said: May God NOT reward him with good. He said: Why???, she replied: because since he took ruling of people, I didn't get any thing from him, no Dinar nor Dirham. He said: but how can he know anything about you and you are here?!!. She replied: Glory of GOD, I never knew that someone would take ruling of people and know nothing about the people of east and west!!. Omar cried and said: Oh Omar. All people are more knowing than you even old ladies. Then he said to her: O' servant of GOD, would you sell me your complaint on Omar? I feel sorry for him to be in Hell. She replied: are you mocking me?!!!. He said: No, I'm not mocking. And he didn't leave her till agreed to buy her complaint with 25 Dinars. And while he was still there, Ali Bin Abi Taleb and Ibn Masood came there and greeted Omar with his title 'Amir Al Moamneen', and that old lady was listening with shock. She put her hand on her head and said: Oh My God, I cursed 'Amir Al Moamneen' in front of him!. He replied: it's OK, God Bless you. Then, he asked for any cloth or paper to write on, but there was nothing, so he took part of his clothes and wrote on it "By The Name Of God, this is what Omar bought from this lady, her complaint, since he started his ruling till this day …, with 25 Dinars, so I'm free and sinless from anything she will claim on the present of God in The Day Of Judgement and the witnesses are Ali Bin Abi Taleb and Ibn Masood",
Then he gave that document to his son and said: if I died, put this document inside my Coffin to Meet my GOD with it…

I found this story in a newspaper, and I translated it to English because I liked it, and I want you to see deeply: how Omar with his power and authority talked with this woman?, how she made him cry?, how he tried to satisfy that helpless woman and try to purchase not only her complaint, but her satisfaction as well?, How he was so watchful to prepare himself for the Day Of Judgment and was so careful to make good deeds and leave nothing but the good things.

How about us, all of us, 'and no matter the religion', are we careful that much with our daily dealing with people, are we really care about the poor and unnoticeable people? Are we seeking people's satisfaction or at least Are we careful enough to not hurt anyone?
On the other hand, is there any leader in this time really care about his people, the weakest and helpless? It's hard to say? But maybe there are some, but not so many.

Depend on your Faith

While I was preparing my answer for a dear Atheist Brother, I found a colorful letter for me from a dear friend from "……..", she has been away for months and I didn't hear from her for a long time, she was facing serious family problem that threaten her stable family, her Mom and Dad were in the edge of collapsing and divorcing, she wrote to me a letter months ago about her fears and went into tears, she was like a little girl afraid to lose her united family and be forced to choose between her mom and dad. I was terrified like her, she is older than me, but she wrote like little child, I wrote to her my advices and some tips that can help her parents to look and consider the family members, I even told her about my own personal experience, also I told her to tell her parents when they are in good mood how they are lucky to be one family and her friend (who is me) wish to have family like them, (some words and comments can soften hearts more than anything),

Anyway, I really liked what she revealed and consider it as an answer for any one thinking negatively about GOD and FAITH,
she wrote this time about that terrible experience and how she was frustrated and hopeless, her sadness and despond made the life without any color or taste, she was drowning in the maelstrom of despair,,

she said: "I just forgot about the invocations, the real magic and nothing can help more than faithful invocations to GOD, and my faith and prayers to GOD. And NOW I got back my confidence and I am more happier than anytime, I found happiness in every thing and what make me happy now is my pretty little angel, my niece "R", she making me really the happiest human on this earth!"

The best answer for case like this is with this two lines:

ولــرب نـازلة يضـيق بـها الفتــى *** ذرعــاً و عند الله منها المخرج
ضاقت فلما استحكمت حلقاتـها *** فـرجـــت و كان يظنها لا تفـرج
Which means: sometimes we fall in dilemmatic problems and feel terrible by that, while GOD has the way out. And we think it will never solve and suddenly we find the way out to solve it with no complexities.
